Arainn - Inishmore - This cross, overlooking the harbour in Kilronan, was carved by the father of Pádraig Pearse the 1916 leader who was shot by firing squad. The inscription reads - "Erected by the islanders and a few friends for the memory of the Rev. Michael O'Donoghue for 11 years the beloved priest and benefactor of Aran 1893. R.I.P.
