Inis Meáin - The sign reads - 'Windmills. Water desalination plant' On the sign, note the dot (séimhiú) above five letters e.g. above the t in gaoite. This is an oldish usage - for a long number of years this word would be rendered as 'gaoithe' with a h intead of the dot. This is by no means the only sign like this on Inis Meáin.
